Standard tools

CONE TIP

In order to avoid breakages and unexpected maintenance during demolition work, the choice of tool is very important and should be made mainly according to: type of excavator, type of hydraulic breaker, type of soil. With EXTREME® Tools we can offer cutting tools for any type of application and ground conditions.

  1. Do not give blank firing
  2. Do not use the tool as leverage to move boulders
  3. Do not beat the tools in the same place for too much time
  4. Always work perpendicular to the ground
  5. Lubricate the tool regularly

TYPE OF STEEL

Our tools use a hardening steel with a nickel component that increases the thermal conductivity during the treatment, allowing to have a homogeneous hardness between the external surface and the heart of the tool.

ULTRASOUND CHECK

At the time of purchase, the steel undergoes an initial ultrasound check to look for any internal anomalies. Surface imperfections are eliminated during the processing phase. In this stage, 6 mm up to 10 mm of material are removed depending on the diameters.

DIMENSION CHECK

After processing, a dimension check is carried out just before the heat treatment.

HARDNESS CHECK

The production cycle ends with the hardness check. Hardness must remain in a range between 48 HRC and 50 HRC (higher values increase the fragility of the tool and the chance of break and failure). The hardness check is carried out on every single tool we produce, with a single impression for lengths up to 800mm; and with two or three impressions for longer lengths.

CONE TIP

CONE TIP

Model: P series
Type of usage: Recommended for operations on homogeneous rock or concrete. Its force is heavily concentrated.

FLAT TIP

moil tip

Model: E series
Type of usage: Recommended for operations on hard homogeneous rocks. The pyramid surfaces channel the dust out of the working area.

CHISEL TIP

chisel tip

Model: T series (vertical) – S series (horizontal)
Type of usage: Recommended for operations on miscellaneous material. A sharp cutting action helps to define the shape of demolition.

WIDE CHISEL TIP

wide chisel tip

Model: B series (vertical tip) – C series (horizontal tip)
Type of usage: Recommended for cutting with great precision plastic material, like asphalt or frozen ground.
